My guest in this episode is Dolores Gaut. she’s a Training Specialist at Cognizant with over 17 years of experience in training, facilitation, and leadership development. As a self-described nerd, she’s passionate about learning and is committed to sharing knowledge, and leveraging the power of a company's culture to help people connect their passions to the company's purpose and mission. Challenges presented:
1) Imagine that your employer keeps loading on more and more responsibilities for you. How do you manage the increasing load of projects on your plate?
2) It can be easy to feel discouraged during job searches. How do you continue forward with your search when you have received so many rejections or ghostings?
3) Imagine you are just starting in L&D. You have some experience and training, but you’re trying to determine your worth to a company in regards to what positions you should apply to and how much you should request for your salary. How do you set this worth?
